Originally from Tuscaloosa, Alabama, Brandon is a writer and director based out of Los Angeles, California. Since he is from the South, he enjoys telling stories about the complexities within Southern life. He loves capturing the textures of the landscape and the eccentricities of the people there.
Brandon is also a lover of everything cinema. He loves researching the history of films and finding undiscovered gems. He also spent several years working at a video store after moving to Los Angeles. He uses his video store knowledge as the host of CineNation Podcast, which he has been hosting for over 200 episodes. He also freelances as a writer for film analysis and criticism.
As a director, Brandon’s films have shown at such film festivals as Austin Film Festival and Sidewalk Film Festival. As a writer, his scripts have placed at such screenwriting competitions as ScreenCraft Competition, Sidewrite Screenwriting Competition at Sidewalk Film Festival, and Shore Scripts Feature Competition.
